Through the Fire

"The smell of death was slinking closer, and closer. The forest had started in flames, and took all the creatures in it by surprise.
Baratheon, a stag, who had been wandering the thicket, wasn't scared at all. He was part of the Silverthorne herd, and could walk through the fire as if it was nothing.
When the sea of flames over flowed through the woods, Baratheon took it upon himself to scout for any injured any fawnlings or creatures.

The air was foggy, and it started to get harder for Baratheon to breathe. I don't think anyone is in trouble around here... said Baratheon, as he struggled to breathe.
The stag shook his head, but fell down after, as it has made him dizzy. The last time he had been exposed to fire like this was when his parents had died.
The fire didn't kill them, but the trees that had been killed by the fire did.

The stag could tell that the environment all around him was hot. He heard the bark sear off the trees, and the crackling of the fire surrounded him. He kept seeing nightmares of
the fire engulfing the trees, and causing them to fall all around him. He heard his mother call out, and her call fading. He collapsed again while trying to get up, out of energy. Baratheon looked up slowly
into the hidden sky. You could see fire in his eyes. Something sparked in him, which gave him the strength to see through his nightmares.

Tonight was about overcoming his greatest fear; forest fires. They took away his family. Yes, they did make him a stronger stag, but they left fear in his heart.
He wanted to beat the fire, and save anything from its wrath. Baratheon stood up, gathered all of his strength, and bolted into the forest.
His father's father had been a great leader, and a brave stag. Baratheon strove to become just like him.
More than anything he too wanted to be a great leader and a brave stag. With that in his mind he searched the burning chaos to save those in need,
and a leader to take them to salvation. "

And that was an RP audition...
I haven't done this in forever, so keep that in mind. Baratheon has really sparked inspiration in me, and I know the more I write, the better I will get. Hopefully.
